More than a storage facility, the Greenlam Laminates Warehouse in Thailand serves as a multifaceted centre catering to a diverse array of needs. With a capacity to house up to 2 million sheets of laminate, it offers an array of services, including a forthcoming retail store, co-working space, authentic Thai restaurant, dynamic rooftop bar, and expansive laminate showroom, all meticulously designed to elevate customer experiences.
Distinguished by its commitment to sustainability and efficiency, the warehouse integrates state-of-the-art technology. The implementation of EV chargers for cars and forklifts, and the inclusion of ventilation system signals a shift towards greener operations. Plans are underway to integrate a large-scale solar cell system, further reducing our ecological footprint while enhancing energy autonomy.
Environmental harmony takes precedence in the warehouse’s design. Strategic positioning maximizes natural light and airflow, while the utilization of Greenlam CLADS for the building’s exterior ensures durability, weather resistance, and efficient thermal insulation. These measures optimize conditions within the warehouse while minimizing energy consumption.
Our commitment to wastewater management extends beyond compliance. Our wastewater management system employs a multi-step process to eliminate toxic residue, enabling treated water to be recycled for irrigation, nurturing green spaces surrounding the facility.
The Greenlam Laminates Warehouse in Thailand transcends mere innovation; it embraces self-sustaining agriculture and community engagement. Bananas and grapes are cultivated along the perimeter, forming an innovative edible fence. Simultaneously, tilapia cultivation utilizing post-treatment wastewater further integrates agriculture into our operations, fostering a green ecosystem that champions biodiversity and supports better community relations.
In alignment with these efforts, the establishment of the Nonthaburi Durian Conservation Centre on a sprawling area exceeding 40 Rai is pivotal. This centre serves as a base for preserving the unique Nonthaburi durian variety while also serving as an educational hub. By nurturing a symbiotic relationship with nature, these initiatives contribute to the ethos of sustainable development, aligning with Greenlam’s green business objectives since Day 1.
Greenlam Asia Pacific (Thailand) Co., Ltd, in collaboration with our distributor Port09 Co., Ltd, spearheads this groundbreaking endeavour. With an investment worth USD 8 million, our warehouse emerges as a pivotal node in the global supply chain, facilitating seamless distribution and bolstering international commerce, with possibly the largest international distribution centre, coupled with a formidable-sized dealer network, cross-border e-commerce and a promise for best logistics service. This is a step in reaffirming our commitment to excellence and innovation in the Asia-Pacific market for all surfacing and substrate needs.
